There is no known interaction between paracetamol (the active ingredient in 150mg tablets or suppositories) and Nasonex (mometasone) nasal spray. These medicines work in different ways and are processed by different parts of the body.

Why this happens
Paracetamol is a painkiller and fever reducer that works throughout the body. Nasonex is a corticosteroid spray that works locally in the nose to reduce inflammation. Because Nasonex is applied directly to the nasal lining, very little of the medicine enters the bloodstream, making an interaction with paracetamol highly unlikely.
What you should do
Back to contentsIt is safe to use these two medicines together. However, when taking paracetamol, it is best to avoid or strictly limit alcohol, as combining them increases the risk of liver damage. Always follow the dosage instructions on the packaging for both products.

Taking aspirin (75mg to 150mg) with Xigduo (which contains dapagliflozin and metformin) can increase the risk of your blood sugar dropping too low (hypoglycaemia). It may also increase the risk of a rare but serious condition called lactic acidosis, where too much acid builds up in your blood.
