There is a potential risk of increased bleeding when taking glucosamine alongside blood-thinning medications like warfarin. While the interaction with other medications is less common, glucosamine may also slightly affect blood sugar levels. Why this happens
Glucosamine may enhance the effects of anticoagulant (blood-thinning) drugs, though the exact biological reason is not fully understood. It may also interfere with how the body processes sugar (insulin sensitivity). MSM is an organosulphur compound that does not have many well-documented chemical interactions but can have additive side effects on the digestive system.
