Why this happens

Abrysvo is a vaccine (biological product) that works by stimulating the immune system to produce antibodies. Symbicort contains a corticosteroid (budesonide) and a long-acting bronchodilator (formoterol) that work locally in the lungs. These medicines do not interfere with how each other are absorbed, broken down, or used by the body.

You can continue to use your Symbicort Turbohaler as normal. If you feel unwell after your vaccination, such as having a high temperature or muscle aches, this is a common side effect of the vaccine and not an interaction with your inhaler. If you have any concerns about your breathing after the vaccine, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
