Can I take Accetaminophen and B12 vitamin together?

There is no known interaction between paracetamol (acetaminophen) and Vitamin B12. It is generally safe to take these two together.

Why this happens

Paracetamol and Vitamin B12 are processed by the body using different pathways. Paracetamol is primarily broken down by the liver, while Vitamin B12 is absorbed in the small intestine and stored in the liver or excreted by the kidneys. They do not interfere with each other's absorption, metabolism, or effectiveness.

You can take paracetamol and Vitamin B12 supplements at the same time. However, it is best to avoid or strictly limit alcohol when taking paracetamol, as combining them increases the risk of liver damage. Always follow the dosage instructions on the packaging for both products.
