Why this happens

Lisdexamfetamine increases the levels of certain chemicals in the brain (noradrenaline and dopamine) that stimulate the heart and blood vessels. Agomelatine works on melatonin and serotonin receptors to regulate sleep and mood. While they work differently, the stimulating effect of lisdexamfetamine may counteract the sleep-promoting effects of agomelatine, and both can influence cardiovascular stability.

You should inform your doctor if you are taking both medications. Monitor your blood pressure and heart rate regularly. If you experience heart palpitations, chest pain, or severe headaches, seek medical advice. It is best to take lisdexamfetamine in the morning to minimise its impact on your sleep at night when you take agomelatine.
