Can I take Apixaban 5mh and Inulin powder together?

Why this happens

Apixaban is absorbed in the stomach and small intestine and processed by specific liver enzymes (CYP3A4). Inulin is a carbohydrate that passes mostly unchanged into the large intestine to be broken down by gut bacteria. It does not affect the absorption, metabolism, or blood-thinning effects of apixaban.

You can safely take inulin powder while taking apixaban. However, as with any high-fibre supplement, it is best to take it with plenty of water. If you experience significant digestive changes like severe diarrhoea, contact your doctor, as extreme changes in digestion can occasionally affect how medications are absorbed.
