Why this happens

Aspirin and finasteride are processed by different pathways in the body. Aspirin works by blocking enzymes that cause pain and inflammation, while finasteride works by blocking an enzyme that converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). They do not interfere with how each other is absorbed, broken down, or removed from the body.

You can take aspirin and finasteride together as prescribed. However, always inform your doctor or pharmacist of all medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs and supplements. If you notice any unusual bruising or bleeding while taking aspirin, you should seek medical advice, though this would be related to the aspirin itself rather than an interaction with finasteride.
