Why this happens
Buscopan (hyoscine butylbromide) works by relaxing the smooth muscles in the digestive system to relieve cramping. Fragmin (dalteparin) is an anticoagulant (blood thinner) that prevents blood clots. These drugs work through entirely different pathways in the body and do not interfere with how the other is absorbed, broken down, or excreted.

However, always inform your healthcare provider of all medications you are taking, and seek medical advice if you notice unusual bruising or bleeding, which is a general side effect of Fragmin regardless of other medications.
