Can I take Clopodogrel and Isosorbate mononotrate together?

Drug interaction guide

There is no direct harmful interaction between clopidogrel and isosorbide mononitrate. They are often prescribed together for heart conditions. Why this happens

Clopidogrel is an antiplatelet medicine that stops blood cells (platelets) from sticking together to prevent clots. Isosorbide mononitrate is a nitrate that widens blood vessels to improve blood flow. They work in different ways and do not interfere with how the body processes (metabolises) each other.

You can safely take these medicines together as prescribed by your doctor. Be aware that you may bruise more easily. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, especially when standing up, move slowly and stay hydrated. Seek medical advice if you experience any unusual or heavy bleeding.
