Can I take Dapagliflozin and Entresto together?

Why this happens

Dapagliflozin works by removing sugar and water through the urine. Entresto contains sacubitril (which increases fluid loss) and valsartan (which affects blood pressure and kidney regulation). Together, they have an additive effect on fluid balance and blood pressure.

You can usually take these together, but your doctor should monitor you closely. Watch for signs of dehydration or low blood pressure, such as feeling very dizzy, lightheaded when standing up, or having a very dry mouth. Ensure you stay hydrated. Your doctor may perform blood tests to check your kidney function and potassium levels shortly after starting this combination.
