Taking these two medicines together can increase the risk of dehydration, low blood pressure, and changes in kidney function. Both drugs have a 'diuretic' effect, meaning they help the body get rid of excess fluid. Why this happens
Dapagliflozin works by removing sugar and water through the urine. Entresto contains sacubitril (which increases fluid loss) and valsartan (which affects blood pressure and kidney regulation). Together, they have an additive effect on fluid balance and blood pressure.
