Can I take Ibuprofen gel 10% and Paracetamol together?

There is no harmful interaction between ibuprofen gel and paracetamol. In fact, they are often used together to provide better pain relief than using either one alone.

Why this happens

Paracetamol and ibuprofen work in different ways to block pain signals. Because the ibuprofen is applied as a gel to the skin, very little of it enters your bloodstream compared to a tablet, which further reduces the risk of any side effects.

What you should do

It is safe to use these two medicines at the same time. Always follow the dosage instructions on the packaging for both products. If your pain does not improve after using both, speak to a pharmacist or doctor.
