Can I take % intravenous infusion - carelide and Cyclizine together?

There is a physical incompatibility when these two medicines are mixed together in the same infusion bag or tubing. This can cause a solid 'precipitate' (small flakes or crystals) to form in the liquid.

Why this happens

Cyclizine is not chemically compatible with certain types of intravenous fluids, such as Carelide (which contains glucose/dextrose). When they touch, the pH change causes the cyclizine to come out of the solution and form solid particles.

These medicines should not be mixed in the same bag or given through the same intravenous line at the same time. If they must be given through the same line, the line must be thoroughly flushed with a compatible liquid (like saline) between the two medicines.
