Can I take Lansoprazole and Paracetamol together?

Why this happens

Lansoprazole works by reducing stomach acid, while paracetamol is a painkiller processed mainly by the liver. They do not interfere with how each other is absorbed, broken down, or removed from the body.

You can take these medicines at the same time. Always follow the dosage instructions on the packet or as advised by your doctor. If you are taking lansoprazole for a stomach ulcer or severe acid reflux, remember that while paracetamol is safe, you should generally avoid anti-inflammatory painkillers like ibuprofen or aspirin, as these can irritate the stomach lining.
