Spicy Sweet Potato Spread

This vibrant spicy sweet potato spread is a versatile addition to any mezze platter or snack selection. By gently microwaving the potatoes, you achieve a soft, plush texture that blends beautifully with the zesty lime juice and aromatic garlic. The combination of cayenne pepper and hot sauce provides a subtle, warming heat that perfectly balances the natural sweetness of the root vegetables, creating a sophisticated depth of flavour.

As a naturally dairy-free condiment, this spread is an excellent healthy alternative to traditional creamy dips. It works wonderfully as a savoury sandwich filler, a base for grilled vegetables, or simply served alongside toasted pitta bread and crunchy crudités. It is a quick and simple way to add a punch of flavour to your weekday lunches or casual weekend entertaining.
