Spicy-Sweet Tangerine Prawns with Baby Bok Choy

These spicy-sweet tangerine prawns offer a vibrant and zesty twist on a traditional seafood stir-fry. By using tangerine concentrate and fresh peel, the dish achieves a bright, citrusy depth that perfectly balances the heat of the sweet chilli sauce. The inclusion of baby bok choy provides a crisp, fresh contrast, making this a colourful and balanced meal that feels special enough for guests but is simple enough for a midweek treat.

As part of a diabetes-friendly diet, this recipe focuses on lean protein and nutrient-dense greens while keeping preparation time to a minimum. The combination of ginger, sesame oil, and oyster sauce delivers plenty of savoury depth without the need for excessive salt. Serve it as a stand-alone light supper or alongside a small portion of brown rice for a wholesome, heart-healthy dinner.
