Cajun Turkey Cheeseburgers With Tabasco Ketchup

These Cajun turkey cheeseburgers offer a vibrant, spicy twist on the classic American burger. Using lean turkey mince makes this a brilliant high-protein option for those seeking a lighter alternative to beef without compromising on bold, savoury flavour. The combination of warming cayenne pepper and Old Bay seasoning provides a deep, smoky base that pairs perfectly with the sweet crunch of slowly sautéed peppers.

To elevate the dish, we have swapped standard shop-bought sauces for a zesty homemade Tabasco ketchup made with a hint of soured cream for richness. Served on toasted whole-grain English muffins, these burgers are ideal for a quick midweek meal or a healthy weekend treat. For the best results, ensure the cheese is added while the patties are still hot to achieve that signature melted finish.
