Rosemary-Sage Burgers with Apple Slaw and Chive "Mayo"

These rosemary and sage burgers offer a sophisticated twist on a classic high-protein favourite. By blending extra-lean minced beef with pork, the patties remain succulent while providing a substantial hit of protein. The aromatic combination of woody rosemary and earthy sage elevates the meat, creating a savoury profile that pairs beautifully with the bright, sharp notes of the homemade apple slaw.

Ideal for a nutritious midweek meal or a healthier weekend barbecue, this recipe replaces heavy condiments with a light, herb-flecked chive cream. Using whole-grain buns and fresh baby spinach adds a boost of fibre and essential nutrients, making it a balanced choice for those seeking a wholesome, satisfying dinner that doesn't compromise on flavour.
