Soppressata Pizza

This homemade soppressata pizza is a sophisticated take on a classic Italian favourite, offering a wonderful balance of bold and creamy flavours. The heat from the thinly sliced salami pairs beautifully with the sweetness of bottled roasted red peppers, while a trio of cheeses—Romano, fontina, and ricotta—provides a rich, melting texture. Using a grilled base ensures a crisp, smoky finish that rivals any authentic stone-baked oven.

As a high-protein option, this dish is ideal for those seeking a satisfying meal that doesn't compromise on taste. The use of lower-fat cheeses keeps the calorie count in check while maintaining a luxurious mouthfeel. Serve these individual pizzas with a fresh rocket salad and a drizzle of balsamic glaze for a quick midweek dinner or an impressive weekend lunch with friends.
