Sweet Potato Shepherd's Pie

This sweet potato shepherd’s pie offers a vibrant and nutritious twist on the traditional British classic. By swapping standard minced beef for lean turkey and replacing white potatoes with a silky sweet potato mash, you create a dish that is both high in protein and rich in vitamins. The addition of chipotle chilli and adobo sauce provides a gentle, smoky heat that perfectly complements the natural sweetness of the topping, resulting in a deeply satisfying savoury depth.

Ideal for those seeking a healthy yet comforting dinner, this high-protein recipe is a brilliant option for meal prep or a quick family supper. The inclusion of broccoli and red peppers ensures a good portion of your daily vegetables is tucked neatly under the crust. Serve it piping hot from the oven with a side of steamed seasonal greens for a complete, balanced meal that feels indulgent while remaining light.
