Ingredients for Strawberry-rose agua fresca

  • 450 g strawberries, hulled, plus whole strawberries for serving

  • 60 g mint leaves, plus sprigs for serving

  • 30 ml fresh lime juice

  • 30 ml light agave nectar

  • 5 ml rose water (optional)

  • club soda and lime wheels (for serving)

How to make Strawberry-rose agua fresca

  1. Purée hulled strawberries, mint leaves, lime juice, agave nectar, rose water (if using), and 500 ml cold water in a blender until smooth.

  2. Transfer the purée to an airtight container, cover, and chill in the fridge for about 1 hour until cold.

  3. Skim off any foam from the surface of the purée.

  4. Pour the purée into four 350 ml glasses filled with ice, ensuring the glasses are about two-thirds full.

  5. Top up each glass with soda water and garnish with mint sprigs, lime wheels, and whole strawberries.
