Ingredients for Pop it like it's hot popcorn.
120 g popcorn kernels
15 ml coconut oil
10 g sea salt
5 g ground cinnamon
15 g coconut sugar
30 g fresh lemon zest
15 g chopped fresh chives
15 g nutritional yeast
1 g ground cayenne
30 g almond butter
30 g honey, softened in a microwave first
30 g dark chocolate chips
30 g crushed pistachios
30 g dried cranberries or raisins
How to make Pop it like it's hot popcorn.
Heat a couple of popcorn kernels with the coconut oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. \
Cover the saucepan with a lid and wait for the initial kernels to pop; this indicates the heat is just right. \
Once the pan is hot enough, add the remaining popcorn kernels and replace the lid. \
Carefully shake the saucepan as the kernels pop until they have all popped. \
Transfer the popcorn to a bowl and toss it with the salt. \
Add any additional flavour options that you and your friends might like.
