Can I take Cordyceps and Royal sun together?

Both Cordyceps and Royal Sun (Agaricus blazei) are medicinal mushrooms that can thin the blood and lower blood sugar levels. Taking them together may increase the risk of bruising, bleeding, or your blood sugar dropping too low (hypoglycaemia).

Why this happens

These supplements have 'additive' effects. This means they work in similar ways to slow down blood clotting and improve how the body handles insulin. When combined, these effects can become stronger than intended.

What you should do

If you choose to take both, monitor your blood sugar levels closely (if you are diabetic) and watch for signs of easy bruising or bleeding gums. If you have an upcoming surgery, stop taking both at least two weeks before the procedure. Consult your doctor if you are already taking prescribed blood thinners or diabetes medication.
