Can I take 3.75 and Evorel sequi together?

Drug interaction guide

Zopiclone (Zimovane) and Evorel Sequi (HRT) can both cause drowsiness and affect your coordination. Taking them together may increase these effects, making you feel more tired or unsteady than usual. Additionally, the hormones in Evorel Sequi may slightly change how your body processes Zopiclone, potentially making the sedative effect last longer.

Why this happens

Both medications have effects on the central nervous system that can add together (additive effect). Furthermore, the oestrogen in Evorel Sequi can sometimes interfere with the liver enzymes (CYP3A4) responsible for breaking down Zopiclone, which may lead to higher levels of the sleep medication in your bloodstream.

Use this combination with caution. It is best to avoid or strictly limit alcohol, as it will significantly worsen the drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery if you feel sleepy or dizzy. If you find you are excessively tired the next day, speak to your doctor, as they may need to adjust your Zopiclone dose.
