Can I take 75 and D3 k2 together?

Drug interaction guide

There is no known interaction between aspirin 75mg and a combined Vitamin D3 and K2 supplement. However, Vitamin K2 plays a role in blood clotting, which is the process aspirin is used to slow down. While Vitamin K2 (menaquinone) does not typically interfere with aspirin's 'anti-platelet' action, it is important to be aware of how they work together.

Why this happens

Aspirin 75mg works by making 'platelets' (blood cells) less sticky to prevent clots. Vitamin K2 helps the body use calcium properly and supports the production of proteins needed for normal blood clotting. Because they affect different parts of the clotting process, they do not usually cancel each other out or cause dangerous thinning when taken at standard doses.

It is generally considered safe to take these together. You should continue to take your aspirin 75mg as prescribed by your doctor. If you are taking Vitamin K2 to support bone or heart health, ensure you do not exceed the recommended daily dose on the packaging. If you notice any unusual bruising or bleeding, or if you are scheduled for surgery, inform your doctor or surgeon about all the supplements you are taking.
