Taking both Accrete D3 and Perfectil together can lead to you taking too much Vitamin D and Calcium. This can cause high levels of calcium in your blood (hypercalcaemia), which may lead to symptoms like nausea, constipation, thirst, or in more serious cases, kidney stones.

Why this happens
Both products contain Vitamin D and Calcium. Accrete D3 is a high-dose supplement (usually 1000mg Calcium / 880 units Vitamin D), and Perfectil also contains these ingredients. Taking them together creates an 'additive effect', meaning the doses add up and may exceed the safe daily limit.
What you should do
Back to contentsYou should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking these together. They may advise you to stop the Perfectil or switch to a different multivitamin that does not contain extra calcium and Vitamin D, especially if you have a history of kidney stones or kidney problems.
