Why this happens
Amorolfine is a topical antifungal treatment (usually a nail lacquer) that stays on the surface of the nail with very little entering the bloodstream. Co-codamol is an oral painkiller containing paracetamol and codeine. Because they work in completely different ways and amorolfine does not reach high levels in the body, they do not interfere with each other.
What you should do
Back to contentsYou can continue to use both medications as prescribed or directed. Always follow the specific instructions for applying the nail lacquer and the dosage instructions for the co-codamol.

This could make you feel more drowsy or dizzy than usual. Additionally, both medications can occasionally affect your liver function, so using them together over a long period requires caution.
