Lenzetto is a brand name for a transdermal estradiol spray used for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Using two different transdermal sprays together (unless specifically directed by a specialist) can lead to an overdose of oestrogen. This can increase the risk of side effects such as breast tenderness, nausea, headaches, and more seriously, blood clots or thickening of the womb lining.

Why this happens
Both products deliver medication through the skin into the bloodstream. Using them simultaneously creates an additive effect, meaning the total dose of oestrogen in your body becomes too high.

If you have accidentally used both, contact your GP or pharmacist for advice. Ensure you apply the spray to clean, dry, intact skin and allow it to dry before covering with clothes.
