Panah Refuge

Panah Refuge is for Black Minority Ethnic women and children fleeing domestic violence. The service provides emergency housing and support for BME women and children who are fleeing domestic violence and includes fleeing forced marriages.

Referrals are accepted from women (with or without children) who:

  • have experienced domestic violence
  • are over 16 years of age
  • do not have male children over the age of 12

There is no requirement for applicants to be residents of Newcastle.
