Why this happens
Both alcohol and bisoprolol work to lower blood pressure (vasodilation). When used together, their effects add up, leading to an exaggerated drop in blood pressure. Alcohol can also increase the sedative effects of beta-blockers like bisoprolol.

If you do choose to drink, do so very sparingly and be aware that you may feel the effects of alcohol more quickly. Do not drive or operate machinery if you feel dizzy or drowsy.
