There is no known direct interaction between Anoro Ellipta and valsartan. Why this happens
Anoro Ellipta contains umeclidinium and vilanterol. Vilanterol is a 'beta-agonist' which can occasionally cause a fast heartbeat or low potassium. Valsartan is an 'ARB' that affects blood pressure and can sometimes increase potassium. While they work in different ways and do not interfere with each other's metabolism, their combined effects on the heart and mineral balance are worth noting.
