These vibrant crab toasts with spicy yoghurt offer a sophisticated and refreshing twist on a classic seafood starter. By combining sweet hand-picked crabmeat with the bright notes of lemon, dill, and toasted sesame, this dish achieves a wonderful balance of textures. The base of creamy Greek yoghurt, infused with a gentle heat from the gochugaru, provides a cooling contrast that elevates the delicate flavour of the shellfish without overpowering it.
As a high-protein option, this recipe is ideal for a nutritious light lunch or an elegant appetiser when entertaining. Using thick slices of toasted sourdough or artisanal country-style bread ensures a sturdy base for the generous toppings. For the best result, ensure your crabmeat is well-drained and serve immediately to enjoy the contrast between the crisp toast and the succulent, zesty topping.
