Blood Pressure UK is an operating name of the Blood Pressure Association (BPA), the UK's blood pressure charity which provides information for people with high blood pressure to help them lower their blood pressure for life. The charity provides the following services:
- Information: A range of information materials is available covering the main aspects of managing hypertension, medications, lifestyle changes, blood pressure measurement and other risk factors. Information is available in large print on request and in a variety of languages (Hindi, Punjabi, Gujerati, Hindi and Welsh).
- Website: This gives immediate access to information about high blood pressure and details of Blood Pressure UK's activities and how to get involved.
- Membership: E-membership (free) includes regular e-newsletters about blood pressure and the work of Blood Pressure UK. Normal membership (for a subscription fee) includes magazine Positive Pressure, produced twice a year, with latest blood pressure developments, news, and expert articles, plus special offers and other benefits.
- "Know Your Numbers" week: the nations biggest blood pressure testing event every September.
