Can I take Ezetimibe and Soft together?

Why this happens

Ezetimibe is absorbed in the digestive tract and works locally in the small intestine to block cholesterol absorption. Soft drinks do not significantly alter the acidity of the stomach or the metabolic pathways (enzymes) that process ezetimibe.

What you should do

You can continue to take ezetimibe as prescribed. It is generally recommended to take your medication with water, but having a soft drink around the same time will not stop the medicine from working or cause a dangerous reaction.
